As a little girl my inherent creativity was nurtured by my inspiration – my Grandma Normski, the original upcycling queen.

Together, we repurposed and fixed up old things, everything was handmade and homemade, and nothing made us happier.  When I became a Mum myself and as my family grew, I had a developing interest in multifunctional furniture that infused comfort and storage.

With the love for interiors coursing through my veins, in 2015 I was studying upholstery whilst my three children were in bed sleeping at night; I began to build my dream – The Upholstery Lady (TUL). Now as an experienced upholsterer, I feel privileged to be doing what I love as a job!

As TUL flourishes I can celebrate many business highlights which include opening my Monton shop, being an artisan maker on the TV show “Money For Nothing”, working on Aldi’s Christmas TV campaign, featuring in OK Magazine, hosting workshops of my own, showcasing at interior tradeshows, Twig & Bents Garden & Home stocking my creations, managing large collaborative projects and all those smaller chair spruces that equally give me fire in my belly.
