The Upholstery Lady agrees to provide upholstery services as described in the agreed-upon work order or contract.
Clients agree to pay The Upholstery Lady according to the pricing structure provided in the estimate or quote.
Payment is due as follows: 7 days
Late payments may incur late payment fees or interest rates.
Estimates provided by The Upholstery Lady are valid for a period of 3 months. Any changes to the price of materials or to the scope of work may result in a revised estimate.
A deposit of 50% is required before the commencement of work. This deposit is used to buy materials for the work due to be carried out. If the products have already been bought and the client decides that they no longer want to go ahead then the deposit is non-refundable. If the materials have not yet been purchased and the client decides they no longer want to go ahead then we are happy to refund the deposit.
Clients must provide 2 weeks’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
The Upholstery Lady will make reasonable efforts to complete the upholstery work within the agreed upon timeframe. However, unforeseen circumstances may affect the timeline.
The Upholstery guarantees the quality of workpersonship for a period of 1 year. Any defects or issues arising from the upholstery process will be addressed promptly.
Clients are responsible for providing access to the furniture, ensuring it is clean and free of personal items, and following any care instructions provided by The Upholstery Lady.
The Upholstery Lady agrees to keep client information confidential, including but not limited to personal details and specific upholstery techniques.
The Upholstery Lady is not liable for any damages or losses that occur during the transportation of furniture to and from the client's location.
The Upholstery Lady reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.
Either party may terminate this agreement in writing for reasons including but not limited to non compliance with terms.
In case of disputes, both parties agree to mediation, arbitration, or other dispute resolution methods.
